The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC Jobs seeks skilled Kenyans to fill temporary jobs in its national offices. The Commission also tries to hire permanent staff for zones and voter education.
The Commission seeks to employ an Estimated 400,000 temporary workers. To ensure the September 9 General Election is free and fair. The workers are mainly logistical officers, support staff, and presidency officers. They will receive Ksh. Two thousand per day over 13 days to help manage polling stations. In addition, they pay the wages of their deputy.
They will be Accountable for Registering voters and checking their Eligibility to vote. They must collaborate with the IEBC’s Information Technology Officer within the county to ensure.
This will ensure your vote’s Integrity and avoid any fraud. In addition, the candidates will be required to work long hours and be flexible with their description of work. Other positions the Commission hires include information for Constituency technology and communications clerks and the Ward-based voter Educator.

This Commission also plans to hire 2,900, with two per the Nation’s 1,450 districts. These ward-based educators will be responsible for giving civic education to ward voters. This is to ensure that they can vote. This will enable them to pay the costs of their travel.
The deputy Presiding officers will receive a salary of 18,000 daily Shillings for 13 days. To assist their Presiding officers in running the polling places. They will also help them conduct site Inspections and ensure the voting process is done.
