Job Summary
Duty Manager and Duty Officer: The Duty Manager will assist in delivering a high-quality living and meeting environment for guests and staff at Bayt Al Dhiyafah, the Patient Recovery Centre, on-call doctors’ facilities, guesthouses, and the Female Recreation Club. This role involves planning, organising, and overseeing housing, catering, and meeting services while maintaining high standards for customer service, facility upkeep, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, control, and monitor accommodations and meeting room allocations to maximise resource utilisation.
- Supervise check-in processes to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Coordinate catering requirements for guests and events.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on fixtures, fittings, and amenities.
- Liaise with departments such as Housekeeping, Security, and Transportation to maintain service standards.
- Please address guest complaints promptly and ensure feedback is communicated to senior management.
- Facilitate staff meetings and ensure team readiness for daily operations.
- Maintain databases for occupancy levels and generate management reports.
- Personally manage VIP guest experiences to ensure exceptional service.
- Organise staff training and maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire procedures.
- Assume operational leadership in the absence of senior management.
- Provide monthly reports and recommend service improvements.
Job Requirements Educational Qualifications Essential:
- A bachelor’s degree in hotel management, tourism, or a related field is required.
- Intermediate food hygiene certification.
- HACCP certification.
- Group training techniques.
Desirable: - Project Management (PMA or equivalent).
Experience Essential:
- A minimum of 4 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in reservations, guest relations, food & beverage, or front office.
Desirable: - 2 years of experience in a high-standard hotel company.
Skills Essential:
- Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and hotel booking systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Strong leadership skills for managing large teams.
- Experience in high-volume environments.
- Report writing.
Desirable: - Familiarity with quality management systems.
- Project management experience.

Job Summary
Duty Manager and Duty Officer: The duty officer supports the hospitality management team in delivering exceptional customer service and operational efficiency across assigned areas. This role involves overseeing daily operations, leading teams, and ensuring compliance with company standards as outlined in the HMC SOP manuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations in assigned areas to ensure smooth functioning.
- Prepare and manage team schedules and duty assignments.
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to maintain service quality.
- Ensure stock levels are sufficient for daily operations.
- Address guest complaints and provide effective solutions.
- Conduct daily staff briefings and maintain attendance records.
- Train team members on hygiene, health, and safety standards.

- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
