Job description
We are seeking an experienced Driver/Operator for a Sliding Platform Recovery Van to safely operate the recovery vehicle and assist in the recovery and transportation of disabled or stranded vehicles. The candidate should have relevant experience in operating recovery vehicles and hold a valid Medium Truck License.Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate the sliding platform recovery van.
- Recover and load disabled or stranded vehicles using the platform and recovery equipment.
- Secure vehicles properly before transportation.
- Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
- Follow road safety, traffic regulations, and company procedures.
- Respond to vehicle recovery requests and reach assigned locations on time.
- Maintain the recovery vehicle and equipment in clean and safe working condition.
- Report mechanical issues or equipment problems to the supervisor.
- Assist with basic recovery operations when required.
Requirements
- Qatari Medium Truck Driving License.
- Previous experience operating a recovery van or similar heavy vehicle.
- Experience in vehicle recovery, towing, or roadside assistance is preferred.
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Physically fit and capable of handling recovery-related duties.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and in different locations.
- Good communication and responsible work attitude.
