Job description
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor – Fibre Optic Installation for a UAE-based project. The candidate will be responsible for supervising fibre optic installation activities, coordinating site teams, monitoring project progress, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining compliance with safety procedures and project specifications. Previous Gulf experience and strong English communication skills are mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily fibre optic installation and site activities.
- Coordinate technicians, installers, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
- Monitor fibre optic cable laying, routing, splicing, termination, and testing activities.
- Ensure installation work complies with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Allocate tasks and monitor workforce productivity.
- Coordinate with project engineers, clients, and other contractors.
- Track daily progress and prepare site reports.
- Identify and resolve installation issues and site-related challenges.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and quality standards.
- Monitor tools, materials, and equipment required for project execution.
- Ensure work is completed within project schedules and deadlines.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in fibre optic installation and site supervision.
- Gulf experience is mandatory.
- Gulf return candidates only.
- Strong knowledge of fibre optic installation procedures and testing methods.
- Fluent English communication skills are mandatory.
- Proven ability to supervise site teams and coordinate project activities.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and quality control procedures.
- Immediate availability preferred.
