Job description
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor specializing in steel structures and civil construction projects. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years of relevant UAE experience, with strong technical knowledge of quantity surveying, cost estimation, contract administration, and construction industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for steel and civil construction projects.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Prepare project budgets, cost plans, and material quantity calculations.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and expenditures.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and supplier proposals.
- Prepare interim payment applications, invoices, and final accounts.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and UAE construction standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant UAE experience in quantity surveying.
- Experience in steel structures and civil construction projects is essential.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, contracts, and project documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and civil engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with UAE construction practices and industry standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
