Job description
We are hiring experienced Purchasing Specialists for a restaurant/catering operation in Saudi Arabia. Candidates must have previous Saudi or GCC purchasing experience, preferably within catering, food service, or restaurant operations.Responsibilities
- Source and purchase food, beverages, equipment, and operational supplies.
- Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate prices and commercial terms.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain purchasing records.
- Coordinate with stores and operations to determine purchasing requirements.
- Monitor supplier deliveries, quality, quantity, and timelines.
- Follow up on pending orders and resolve supply issues.
- Maintain supplier databases and purchasing documentation.
- Ensure purchases meet required quality and budget standards.
Requirements
- Previous Saudi/GCC experience in purchasing.
- Restaurant, catering, food-service, or hospitality purchasing experience preferred.
- Basic Arabic language proficiency is required.
- Good knowledge of local suppliers and purchasing practices.
- Strong understanding of food and operational supply requirements.
- Candidates must be medically fit and available as required.
