Job description
Tailoring and Textiles in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Cutting Master specializing in men's garments, including shirts and trousers. The candidate should be skilled in taking customer measurements, preparing garment patterns, and cutting fabric accurately. Experience in uniform cutting is preferred, while the ability to cut coats and suits will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Take accurate customer body measurements.
- Prepare garment patterns according to designs and specifications.
- Cut fabric for men's shirts, trousers, and other garments.
- Handle uniform cutting and bulk garment orders.
- Ensure accurate fabric cutting and minimize material wastage.
- Coordinate with tailors and stitching staff to maintain quality and timely delivery.
- Inspect cut pieces for accuracy and consistency.
- Handle special and private customer orders as required.
Requirements
- Candidates from India or Nepal may apply.
- Proven experience as a Cutting Master in a tailoring shop or garment workshop
- Experience in cutting men's shirts and trousers is essential.
- Uniform cutting experience preferred.
- Ability to take measurements and prepare patterns independently.
- Experience cutting coats and suits is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in Doha, Qatar, for 10 hours per day.
