Job description
The Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating cleaning staff to ensure that all assigned areas are maintained to the required standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety. The role involves monitoring daily cleaning activities, assigning duties, checking work quality, and ensuring proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of cleaning staff.
- Assign cleaning duties and prepare work schedules.
- Inspect assigned areas to ensure proper cleaning and hygiene standards.
- Monitor the quality and productivity of cleaning staff.
- Ensure correct use of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Train and guide cleaning staff on proper cleaning procedures.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning materials and report shortages.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is properly used, stored, and maintained.
- Handle cleaning-related complaints and take corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
- Good knowledge of cleaning equipment and cleaning procedures.
- Good command of English.
- Ability to supervise and manage a team of cleaning staff.
- Good knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a demanding environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain high cleaning standards.
