Job description
We are looking for skilled and experienced 6G Welders to join a reputed company in the UAE. The candidate should have strong experience in TIG and ARC welding, particularly in fixed-position welding of pipes and related industrial works. The welder must be capable of producing high-quality welds while following safety and quality standards.Responsibilities
- Perform 6G position welding on pipes and metal components using TIG & ARC processes.
- Read and understand welding drawings, specifications, and welding procedures.
- Prepare, align, fit, and weld pipes according to required dimensions and standards.
- Perform root pass, filling, and capping as required.
- Inspect welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and incomplete penetration.
- Maintain proper welding parameters and equipment.
- Follow company HSE and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, and other site personnel.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a 6G Welder.
- Hands-on experience in TIG & ARC welding.
- Strong knowledge of pipe welding and fixed-position welding.
- Ability to work with different types and thicknesses of metal.
- Ability to understand welding drawings and specifications.
- Relevant industrial/construction experience preferred.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a demanding industrial environment.
- Candidates should be willing to work in the UAE.
