General Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• The garden manager chef has many responsibilities besides preparing and plating food items. Garde manager cooks will ensure that the cold station is clean at the night’s end and that the food is stored safely for the next day’s use.
• He will also take care of storing and maintaining the equipment. Training and supporting junior members of the brigade
•  Ensuring Health and Safety legislation is adhered to at all times.
• We are maintaining the high standards of the establishment and working to enhance the restaurant’s reputation.
• Garde manager cooks will also work with the other cooks to ensure that the walk-in, or cold storage, is kept clean and in proper order. Cooks may be responsible for performing their inventory of commonly used items and determining their freshness before use.
• The Garde manager may ask to perform additional tasks for the chef or sous chef. The cook should perform these tasks quickly and to the best of his ability. The garden manager chef will possess a broad knowledge concerning hygiene and food safety

Desired Profile:

Education: College Completion of Chef Diploma

Experience: 4 to 5 years experience as Garde manager, two years as salad Maker.
